About Me
Hi, I'm a photographer a fell walker and have lived in many different countries over the last 20 years. Since I've moved back to Cumbria I have come to truly appreciate the county I was brought up in and it's strength and character and try to reflect this in my photographs. I'm currently doing a BA hons in Photography and training to climb Mt Kenya to raise funds for the Lake District Mountain Rescue.....other than that I'm just your average farmers daughter from Wigton

About Me
Hello. My name is Michelle and I am first and formost a fan of Ray Bradshaw's Artwork. I think he is very talented. I especially love his recent set of paintings of the Lake District.
I love art and drawing and run a small business called KIDzROOMz. I paint any design for children onto canvas or on to their bedroom walls. Apart from drawing, painting etc I also love walking, jogging and a little cycling!

About Me
I have just started watercolour painting for the first time since I did A level art over 20 years ago. Back then I was more interested in drawing than painting and don't remember learning much about painting techniques. I am enjoying dabbling with painting mountain landscapes but have got a lot to learn - it's all about trial and error for me at the moment. I'm not really thinking about composition but painting from mine and others photos that appeal to me and that I think would work well as a painting. I'm keen to hear others' views on my work and to learn from others so that I can continue to enjoy painting in the future and hopefully get better with practice. I love to look at other people's work, particularly British landscapes and look forward to hearing other people's views on different artists etc.

About Me
I am a 67 year old retired procurement specialist that used to work for Stock Building Supply. I have always loved to draw things but never took any formal training. I did watch Bob Ross on PBS and became intranced with his work and his statement that anyone can paint. I purchased some oil paint, brushes and canvas and started trying to paint. For several years I was an off and on painter only painting when time and and constraints permited me to and these were infrequent. When I retired I got divorced within 2 months of that time. This freed me and my time up. I took up painting on a full time basis. It passed time for me and occupied my mind. I grew to love painting and putting things down on canvas. I guess you would call me a folk artist not having any training and just doing what felt right to me and looked the way I liked it. It is to the point that I want to show the world some of the beauty that I see in it and the way I see it. I paint to please myself because if I don't like my work why would I expect someone else to enjoy it. If I can bring a little of the beauty that I see into the lives of a few others then I have accomplished what I am trying and am fullfilled. I hope others feel the same way and that there may be some out there that like my work.

I'm a former library supervisor and now freelance proofreader/copy-editor and virtual assistant based in Silsden, Airedale, West Yorkshire.
I enjoy fellwalking (mainly in the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales), gardening and reading. I enjoy looking at art of all kinds but am not very artistic myself. Although I do make greetings cards which I've been told are very artistic.
A lot of my time is spent playing with my 3-year-old granddaughter, Hollie (August 09). It's good to be young again!

I am a retired photographer and was also involved in television production. After leaving school I spent three years at art college before going on to photography college. Didn't do any painting for about another 30 years after I had to retire due to ill-health. Specialised in watercolours, in particular landscapes.
