Another decent day forecast so I headed off to Wasdale to bag another three Western Fells. It was a steep ascent up onto Buckbarrow but well worth it. Another mild day for November requiring only two thin layers of clothing until I reached the tops and then A stiff breeze welcomed me requiring further layer of wind residence type clothing. I was able to get a view of Great Gable where hundreds were gathering for the remembrance day service. The trek up to Seatallan from Buckbarrow is a trudge but the views when at the summit are spectacular.
( well they were on this day ) After lunch in the summit shelter and a good long view at the scenery I descended before ascending once more onto Middle Fell. This I found a more interesting climb and Middle Fell summit has to be one of the best tops with stunning views. The descent from here with the sun in my face was a delight. The day ended with a visit to Wast Water to clean Bross off after a very enjoyable day.
(Excuse the first few photos, I had moisture on the lens.)
